Built their CSL Cockpit 1.5 setup with a Simagic Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm and says it's rock solid with nothing flexing.

Notices a little flex in the CSL Cockpit with a heavy aftermarket seat but none at the pedal or wheel mounts; the stock CSL seat wasn't comfy for long stints.

Upgrading from a wheel stand, the CSL Cockpit has little to no flex and the seat suits short sessions, but it has far too many bolts, poor adjustability without a seat slider, pricey add-ons, and the wheelbase plate didn't go low enough.

Bought the CSL Cockpit for $150 and has zero regrets; with a side-mounted DD Pro and a monitor arm hack it's solid.

positivegreat value

Really likes the CSL Cockpit for a budget setup: easy installation, sturdy yet light enough to move assembled, and no flex with their Simagic 9 Nm base.

Got the discounted Fanatec CSL Cockpit V1.5 and says it exceeded their expectations for a cheap rig.

positivegreat value

Moved from a wheel stand to a discounted $150 Fanatec CSL Cockpit and is more comfortable, faster and more precise in Dirt Rally 2.0 and Assetto Corsa Rally; expected flex but sees and feels none.

Had the CSL Cockpit V1.5 as their first rig: quite rigid with no major functional issues, but adjustment is difficult and cumbersome, and with the Fanatec seat you sit very low, almost on the ground.

Still uses their CSL Cockpit V1.5 after upgrading everything else to a 25 Nm base and better pedals; swapped in an NLR seat that bolted right up, with zero issues.

Used the CSL Cockpit V1.5 with Fanatec's CSL pedals without issues, but after switching to Simnet SP Pro pedals the built-in adjustments left them too high and angled forward. Drilled a new mounting hole 9 cm back in the pedal plate frame to make them sit level and lower.

“I was using my CSL cockpit with the CSL pedals with no issues, but decided it was time to upgrade my pedals so went with the Simnet SP Pros.”
