Upgraded from a G29 to the Moza R5 a week ago and was amazed: cars are far easier to drive, mostly oval racing in iRacing.
Returned a G923 for the MOZA R5 bundle and finds it night and day; solid build and very adjustable base.
Switched from a G29 to the MOZA R5 and found it definitely worth it.
Going on three years with a MOZA R5 on a folding wheel stand and totally happy; it beats their old Logitech desk setup.
Runs a MOZA R5 on a folding stand with handbrake and pedals all wired in; plugs in and is racing instantly and loves it.
Had a MOZA R5 and now a Simagic bundle, and finds everything about the Simagic better.
Was in heaven with a MOZA R5 for about half a year, then noticed lots of clipping and missing detail.
Bought a MOZA R5 and is so in love with it; with the brake kit and Alien mod the pedals are solid too.
Moved from a G27 to a MOZA R5 two years ago; it needs pedal mods or it's a step backward.
After a G27 that felt like a toy, the MOZA R5 left them more than satisfied.
Upgraded to a MOZA R5 and finds it night and day, with no more grinding gears at low force feedback.
Has the MOZA R5 and finds it great without killing the budget.
Finds the MOZA R5 bundle good, with most MOZA wheels compatible for later upgrades; just added the KS.
Went from a G29 to a MOZA R5 and says what a difference; a good upgrade.
Switched from a T300RS GT to a MOZA R5 and found it worth it: a huge increase in detail and better at catching spins.
Returned their MOZA R5 because it overheated.
Had issues with the MOZA R5 too and sent it back for a Logitech Pro wheel, which has had no issues so far.
Their MOZA R5 has really bad oscillation above 100 mph in iRacing, so they had to add damping.
Was happy with their MOZA R5 and could feel bumps fine, but had to run it at 100%, where force feedback clipped; the R12 V2 at 9 Nm feels night and day better.
Had a blast with the MOZA R5 bundle but felt it was lacking, so is upgrading to an R12.
Moved from a Fanatec CSL Elite to the MOZA R5 bundle as their first direct-drive wheel and realised what they had been missing; after MOZA's new firmware it runs cooler for hours at 100% and feels smoother and stronger.
Loves their MOZA R5 after a couple of years and is now getting ready to upgrade to an R12.
Sold their MOZA R5 within a month: in endurance races at 70% force feedback it got extremely hot after about 12 laps, so they moved to a Simagic Alpha EVO 12 Nm.
Bought the MOZA R5 bundle for Forza Horizon 6 and fell in love with sim racing, then sold it to go all-in on a MOZA R21 Ultra setup.
Now runs a MOZA R5 after about ten years on a G27 and finds it amazing in every way.
Bought the MOZA R5 bundle and likes the wheelbase, but found the bundled pedals lame and replaced them with Heusinkveld Sprints.
Has been having a blast with the MOZA R5 since April; force feedback feels amazing in BeamNG, Richard Burns Rally, Dirt Rally 2.0, truck sims, modded Assetto Corsa and Forza Horizon 6.
Raced a MOZA R5 for over a year and had a blast, adding a brake kit, handbrake and KS wheel around it, but now finds the 5 Nm base the weakest link in the setup.
After about eight years on a Logitech G27, moved to an entry-level MOZA R5 and recommends it: great feel and quality for the price.
The MOZA R5 was good for a good while, but they eventually wanted more torque and noticed a slight, annoying notchy feel when turning plus an oscillation problem MOZA never seemed to fix.
Runs a MOZA R5 on an NLR GTLite Pro at 80% with the bundled wheel and clips very hard most of the time, so wants a stronger base.
Is happy with their MOZA R5 bundle and a sequential shifter.
Replaced their Logitech wheel with a MOZA R5 and is very happy with it.
Has the MOZA R5 and finds it absolutely fantastic even at 5.5 Nm, with Pit House working well.
Going from a G29 to the R5 bundle brought an immediate improvement: much better feel for what the car is doing, making the limit easier to find and slides easier to catch.
Upgraded from a Thrustmaster T248 to the R5 last year. Finds the base completely silent and much better at fast forces, which makes catching oversteer easier, though desk mounting passes vibration to the floor. The bundled brake pedal is very light until a cheap brake performance kit is added.
“The brake pedal on the moza bundles is extremely light, about the same as the throttle really, so it's very hard to build any muscle memory to be able to be competitive in racing sims.”
Got a used R5 as their first base for $295. Found its 5 Nm far stronger than expected, like a car whose power steering has cut out, and it shakes their desk over grass; lap by lap they started to feel understeer through it.
Has run a MOZA R5 on an NLR GTRacer 2.0 for over a year and is happy, seeing no need to upgrade.
Has a MOZA R5 on a wheel stand and is happy with it, glad they didn't pick the R3 since even the R5 can clip depending on settings.
After two R3 units failed, upgraded to the R5 and finds it the sweet spot for racing with one arm.
Has raced on a MOZA R5 and says it's enough; added a shifter, handbrake and metal frame and feels done.
Feels their MOZA R5 doesn't give the fine detail of a friend's Fanatec 8 Nm setup, which they enjoy driving far more.
