Sold their Alpha EVO Pro for a VRS: it was littered with bugs and very noisy.
After a recent software update their Alpha EVO Pro's front-end feel is gone and the FFB feels vague and spiky.

Enjoyed their Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm and rates its software above VNM's.
Three months on an Alpha EVO Pro after a G920: FFB at 85% since week one, rock solid and very pleased.

Bought the Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm and feels it's big overkill for lap times rather than immersion.
Bought the Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm after their DD+ bricked, but finds its force feedback less detailed than the Fanatec at the limit of grip.
Glad they switched to the Alpha EVO Pro, which offers more lights, buttons, knobs and settings for the money; paired with VRS Pro pedals it's a killer combo.
Switched from a CSL DD 8 Nm to the Alpha EVO Pro and calls it a huge upgrade: far more textures and detail, no rubbery feel.
Swapped their CSL DD for the Alpha EVO Pro and finds it very good, comparable to the DD+ they tried.
Very happy with their Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm paired with a GT Neo.
Sold a MOZA R9 setup after a couple of years for a Simagic Alpha EVO Pro and finds the force feedback superior.
Moved from a Fanatec DD2 to a Simagic Alpha EVO Pro; not night and day, but it reacts faster, the wheels are lighter and snappier, and the Fanatec felt notchy by comparison.
Owns a Simagic Alpha EVO Pro and, comparing it with a Conspit base in LMU, feels it focuses on effects but is soft on tyre and grip information.
Recently upgraded to the Simagic Alpha EVO Pro and thinks it's great.

Just bought the Alpha EVO Pro 18 Nm coming from a MOZA R9 V2 and says it doesn't feel like an upgrade: force feedback feels robotic, sharp and pointy, and it lacks LFE effects. Tried filter, rotation speed, FFB detail and damping settings in iRacing and AC without fixing it, and finds MOZA far more realistic.
“The ffb feels robotic, sharp and pointy. It doesn't feel realistic at all. And on top of that it doesn't support LFE ffb effects, this is a huge downgrade.”
Has driven the Alpha EVO Pro for much of 2026, choosing it for torque per price and pass-through. After hundreds of hours in iRacing and LMU they aren't happy, especially with LMU force feedback, and are thinking of selling it.
Went from a Logitech RS50 to the Alpha EVO Pro with bass shakers and doesn't miss the RS50's wheel effects at all.
Tested a friend's Simagic EVO Pro extensively, including in LMU, and never liked its force feedback; prefers both their old Logitech PRO and their Simucube 3 Pro.
Has had the EVO Pro for about five months after a Logitech DD Pro and wishes they had kept the Logitech: despite many SimPro tuning attempts it lacks the feel of TrueForce and the detail isn't much different.
“I’ve tried so many different tuning configurations in simpro but it just doesn’t have the feel of true force and the detail doesn’t seem that much different.”
Chose Simagic and has never felt it was a mistake: with an EVO Pro, P1000i pedals and several wheels everything has been excellent, and it blows their old Fanatec setup out of the water.
Owned an Alpha EVO Pro before moving to a MOZA R25 Ultra and then a Simucube 3 Pro; preferred the MOZA experience and software.
